Today the Belgian outfit, Antwerp Aces announced the removal of
their old Counter-Strike line-up after a period of inactivity and loss
of players.
Antwerp Aces have replaced their old line-up with the all Belgian
lineup of Rodcad Gaming who include some familiar faces, ex - Tek9
players Dries "ciseta" Van Houdt, Jannick "Duncan" De Thaeye and Jules
"Nookbrid" Wydoodt. This is the team who represented Belgium at
Dreamhack Winter and are considered the best of their country.
The official statement from Antwerp Aces with regards to their lineup's removal said;
"Following
the inactivity of the current team and shortage of one player we are
forced to stop our cooperation. After a long time of working together
with some of the players this adventure comes to an end with both
parties splitting ways with much mutual respect."
Antwerp Aces had the following to say about their new line-up for 2010:
"First
of all we would like to congratulate them with their successful
appearance at Dreamhack, Sweden and of course we hope they continue
their good performance during their stay here at Antwerp Aces. I would
like to welcome them and wish them the best of luck in 2010."
